I had a lot of trouble getting to this stage. My initial attempt to put the led panel together failed. i went back re-drilled holes , made sure I had each piece correctly oriented and everything went together. The design is somewhat flawed in that once it's together it's difficult to change anything such as the led position without taking things back apart. It's all pretty flexible but working. I will likely add additional standoffs to strengthen the panel.
I am just able to get my arm through so it's a good thing theres a little over three inches gap. I did that because I noticed if the leds are too close to the plexi shadows can be cast in odd ways which I didn't want. The 3 inch gap does make the led less defined but I'm Ok with this.
